Student Organisations
Student Union
(Full-time students 16-18 years)
By enrolling at Epping Forest College you will automatically become a member of the National Union of Students (NUS) as well as the colleges own Student Union. You will have the chance to apply for an NUS Extra card, which gives you discounts at various retail outlets.
The aim of Epping Forest College Student Union is to give students:
* clubs and societies
* trips and events
* facilities
* 'student voice' to represent you
* an enjoyable college experience
Part of the fun of coming to Epping Forest College is the opportunity to take part in social events arranged by the Student Union such as trips out to amusement parks. The Union also represents the 'student voice' on a number of committees dealing with the day-to-day running of the college including the Members and Students Liaison Committee.
You will find the Student Union office on the ground floor of the College. Each year the Union Executive Team is democratically elected by the students. You have the choice of both voting in the elections and running for a post.
Whichever you choose we look forward to meeting you and helping you get involved.
Adult Members Association
(Part-time students 19 years and over)
All part-time students are automatically members of the Adult Members Association (AMA). The AMA helps with financial assistance for specific ventures and events, and supports social, cultural and recreational activities for the college community.
