14 - 16 Year Olds
Interactive Schools Project
This is an Epping Forest College project aimed directly at year 10 and 11 students from local schools.
Its purpose is to introduce students to a wide variety of college-based courses not available at school and has a practical emphasis. These courses are especially designed to suit students who have more interest in work-related learning. Several options are available ranging from one-day-a-week courses, up to a full five days of hands-on study in areas as varied as construction and childcare. To support our students, each school-age learner will have an individual learning plan.
Experienced on-site staff will also provide pastoral support and one-to-one tuition when needed. This way we bring the best out of each student in order to give an introduction into the world of work.
Parents/advocates who are interested in the project can contact the college 14-16 Co-ordinator for an information pack, though students are normally recommended by schools.
